Grow a Chicken Fighter Best Incubator Chickens
Rank the hen by the egg it lays—not by PIT damage—then lock that farmer in the chamber.
The Incubator is a passive egg factory, not a second PIT slot. Rank the bird by what it lays and how rare that hatch pool is. Combat heroes that lay junk eggs are F-tier farmers even if they delete Tower floors. Unlock rules live on Incubator (Rebirth 3, ~300K Money, upgrades persist). Ranking rule
Ask one question before you slot: which egg am I missing? Fortune loops print Founder / Baron / Golden Goose. Cursed loops print 404. Haunt loops print Reaper and Doll Hen for Reaper x Voodoo. A “best incubator chicken” that does not match your goal is the wrong chicken.
S-tier — 100% Fortune
Baron Cluck and Golden Goose both lay Fortune Eggs at 100%. Fortune’s hatch pool is stacked: Founder (~56%), Baron (~43%), Golden Goose Secret (~1%). Every cycle is Legendary-or-better in community tables. Getting another Baron or Goose feeds the same loop. If you own either bird, the chamber belongs to them unless you are specifically hunting Colossus, Cursed, Haunt, or Void.
Golden Goose also carries Za Warudo; do not fuse your only 100% Fortune farmer into a combat craft until a duplicate exists (Special abilities, Best fusions).
A-tier — Founder and Fortune hybrids
Founder Rooster splits 50% Fortune / 50% Royal and is the only reliable Colossus layer (~25% per lay, timer near four minutes before incubator speed). Slot Founder when Colossus / Storm Colossus is the goal. Hatched Colossus hens do not relayout Colossus Eggs (Colossus Egg).
Fortune hybrids if you lack Baron/Goose:

Viper is the best hybrid Fortune farmer. Agent Cluck is still an Arena/Fortune route engine—do not incubate your only copy if you still need the Arena hatch (Egg routes).
A-tier — targeted 100% shells
- 404 Chick — 100% Cursed. Farm more 404, Imposter, Deep Fried. Keep Stone Face as a second Cursed engine if 404 is your PIT carry (404 Chick).
- Haunt 100% (Zombie Chick, Bone Rooster, Reaper, Doll, Ghost, etc.) — Reaper Cosmic under 1% and Doll Divine ~2% for Voodoo.
- Void 100% (Probe, Nebula, Void Rooster, …) — Nebula Cosmic ~1%.
- Royal 100% (Rooster of Fortune, Radiant Fenghuang, Nine-tail, …) — Fenghuang Celestial ~1% for 404 x Ash.
These beat generic Thunder farmers when you have a named hunt.
B-tier — still useful
- Thunder 100% (Static Chick, Sergeant, Prism, Aurora, …) — Founder at ~3% from Thunder, plus Commando / Astro branches.
- Circuit 100% (Drone, Hacker, Overclock, …) — Overclock Celestial ~3%.
- Ballerina Hen — 70% Bloom / 30% Charm. Fine for Bloom collection, not a Fortune replacement.
Do not incubate
- Your only PIT carry during Arena Event or Hot Event PvP.
- Your only Stone Face / Cosmo / Zombie / Founder while that branch is unfinished.
- Random high-rarity fighters that lay Nest-quality eggs. Check Fertility Gene in Flock first (How to fuse).
Session templates
Colossus week: Founder in chamber, extras fused for lay speed, Chicken Boss at 1M/5M (Events).
Fortune week: Baron or Goose in chamber; hatch every Fortune; keep extra Barons.
Haunt / Voodoo week: Zombie (or any 100% Haunt) in chamber until Doll + Reaper exist, then craft (Reaper x Voodoo).
Event week (Aug 22–29): empty the chamber before admin hours if you expect egg rain, then re-slot the farmer after you hatch (Arena Event).
Logout ritual: chamber filled, storage not capped, coop laying armed (Eggs offline, Progression checklist).
